The Berkeley County Foundation for Education announces the availability of a total of ten $500.00 Mini-grants for teachers. Eight of the mini-grants will be awarded to teachers in any subject area. Two of the mini-grants awarded specifically for projects directed toward energy conservation, renewable energy issues or electrical safety – these two mini-grants will be sponsored by Santee Cooper.
Any Berkeley County School District classroom teacher, librarian, guidance counselor, special area teacher or special education teacher is eligible to apply. Please submit your application on the form provided, either electronically or clearly handwritten/typed. We are trying to make this application process as painless and simple as possible; please note the submission directions regarding length of your narrative, font size, margins, etc. Your application must be signed by your school principal.
Mini-Grant applications can be related to any subject area. Santee Cooper will fund two mini-grants with a specific emphasis on energy conservation, renewable energy issues or electrical safety.
Regarding the Budget Information portion of the application:
Please be brief enough to explain your request, but thorough enough for reviewers to see the correlation to your project needs and goals.
